Bab 18: The Sections
The next day seemed a tough as the school had organised tests for the new students. This was done to differentiate the different powers of the new students hence could tell the real classes they had to take. Hamburd had arrived at the assembly point and so had many students except for a few. Moments later a few students was arriving later than the rest of the students and these included Hedrick, Olivier, Xia, Prosper and Kim.
' Seems you pretty had a nice sleep you rats.' Hamburd averred.
' No sir! Only these four were still sleeping.'
' Then what were you doing?'
Hedrick then began to scratch his head and then replied,' I was lying her bed. She said if I don't lay it, she was going to report that I seduced her.'
The students were in deep later as the silly words reached their ears.
' Who exactly?'
Hedrick then pulled out his arm and pointed making all eyes follow the direction until it landed on Mayla.The students once again began to laugh as Mayla face began to turn red once again.
' Okay I'll deal with you later depending on how you will perform at the test.You four can join the students but as for Hedrick, you won't participate in the first two test as a punishment for you.Mentrol is divided into four sections and each section is divided into other units but before that, we need to find out where each of you lies. The four sections include Vampire, Magic, Human and lastly the Dark. The Dark is a special unit as hence only a few will be admitted there. In all the years only five people's ever since the establishment of the school have ever been admitted there. As four the others section, I guess everyone had already known the details before hand.'
He then led the students to a building that was doom shaped and the outer walls made of glass. Rita then arrived from the inside as the glass wall began to divide until a large arch-shaped entrance door was formed. They then proceeded and headed inside. The inside was well seemed smaller than its actual appearance on the outside. The building was divided into four separate section with each section well equipped with training and testing machines that were far much advanced than the 21st century earthly machines.
' Morning everyone, today we shall divide you into different sections and that will depend on how you will perform in each test.'
' First, the vampires won't need to take part in the first test for you don't have magic. All you will have to do is place you hand on the orb and wait for it to shine.'
The vampires then decided to move aside and give space for others to try out.
' Kim Song you go first. '
' Kim Song? I remember him saying he's Lee Song not Kim Song.'
' Yeah you are right. My mother is Kim while my father is Lee.'
' Oh! I see.'
' Next will be Xia then Mayla and rest will follow after.'
The test was done and ten students including Kim were chosen.They then proceeded headed to the second section with different weapons and armor. Each student chose a weapon that fitted his taste except those that had acquired magic and the vampires who felt there was no need to use weapons. Mayla picked a silver bow while Hedrick picked a sword with a pair of daggers on the sheath. Prosper chose a garment with claws on forming a fist and fingers with boots that enhanced one's speed on a go.
' Vampires please follow Mr. Hamburd and the rest please follow me.'
More than 20 students followed Mr.Hamburd and the rest followed Rita where Hedrick decided to fall. But something was not adding up on Mr. Mofasana's screen. He could see two boys who looked the same but at different places.He could tell it was the boy who had beaten the third years, but how the hell was the boy to be in different places at the same time.
' Let's see how you are gonna play it this time boy.'
A female teacher entranced the room where the group of Madam Rita had paraded in wait for the next instructions. She was light skinned with a white clock that covered her whole body and with her was a small wand. The guys who were selected in the magic orb selection will follow Madam Red from here. The ten students who had been selected followed Madam Red out of the room leaving around 40 plus students with their weapons in hand.
' Don't worry. Your number is quite small and manageable. So we are first going to separate ourselves into different sections like combat, secret intelligence, technology and machinery and lastly messenger.'
Hedrick who had been quiet the whole time finally spoke and asked a question.
' Excuse me Madam, what about the Dark?'
Everyone wondered if really Hedrick had been with them throughout the whole process but again his question had arisen curiosity among the rest of the students. Madam Rita was quite amazed by the question the new-by had posed.
' As for the Dark, it isn't a place for every Tom, Dick and Harry.It is a place for only those who are called for a specific purpose. So if you are planning to join, best of luck but it can end up as your lifetime dream.'
' Aaaaah! I think it's quite scary.'
' Me too.'
' I don't wish to go there since even its name is scary.'
' Yeah me too.' the students were quite alarmed by the statement posed by Madam Rita.
' So what do I need to do to join there.'Hedrick inquired.
' You need to do beyond what many can't do.'
Rita replied with a smile and later continued.
' So those good at tracking and intelligence can move to that place there.'
' Don't you dare follow me.'Mayla warned as he pointed at Hedrick but he seemed rather far in thoughts. She snapped her fingers before him and finally spoke.
' Aaah..alas.. good luck.' he said with a smile and went back in his day dream.
This was quite surprising for Hedrick had been quiet ever since the beginning of the selection.
A small door began to form and and around 10 students entered including Mayla.
' The technology and machinery students can use that room.' And around fifteen students including Xia followed.
' Well the rest will go for combat.' a smile appeared on everyone's face except Hedrick who was rather awoken by the noise.
