Bab 41: I’m Being Cooked in Hotpot
Suddenly, the two money demons barged back in and glanced around before slowly walking towards Yu Xuelan's cage.
Yu Xuelan grinned, "Trust me, we will all be fine."
"How are you so confident?" Meixiang asked.
"Because when times get tough, denial is all we have," Yu Xuelan said proudly.
Meixiang, "....."
Yue, "....."
"Or maybe I should just head straight to the dying part."
The two girls looked at each other with worry.
"Take that one. She looks fat enough."
Both Meixiang and Yue furrowed their brows and watched the demons take Yu Xuelan away. They were all in shock. How was Yu Xuelan considered to be fat??
"Wow, the Young Master sure gets hungry fast," the blind monkey commented.
"He's in a good mood today since one of the strongest martial cultivators is in his hands."
They grabbed Yu Xuelan and stripped her clothes down, changing her into a plain white dress.
While Yu Xuelan was lying on the ground like a dead fish, she had cast an appearance changing spell onto herself to change her body fat composition in the eyes of demons. It was quite a tricky spell to cast since it only appeared before the eyes of a selective audience but luckily, she still had the skills.

The passageway of staircases had many pathways branching off into different directions, almost like a maze of stairs that would confuse even the most intelligent architects.
"Hurry and walk faster!" The blind monkey tugged the chain that connected to Yu Xuelan's handcuffs.
"But I'm walking the same pace as you?" Yu Xuelan questioned.
The other started laughing hysterically but attempted to stop their laughter by covering their mouth.
"Shut up Bobo!"
"Sorry."
"You sure have a spicy mouth, lady. Too bad you're going to get eaten today."
"Sad, I'll miss you guys," Yu Xuelan replied with a saddened look and wiped her tears.
"Aw, we'll miss you too."
The three exchanged glances in silence.
"Wait, how did you break your cuffs?!" the blind demon exclaimed in shock.
"Oh, my bad," Yu Xuelan stopped wiping her tears and cuffed herself back, "Is that better? Sorry."

Yu Xuelan felt that she'd been walking upstairs for quite a while. Even walking up to heaven would've been faster.
Although her face was calmer now, she still couldn't get rid of the thought that she still had the guts to sexually harass Wu Zhitian in her dreams. But people said that dreams displayed your utmost desires.
And that made her feel even worse.
After ascending another flight of stairs, they enter a room that comprised an enormous cooking pot with a cage covered by a cloth. The smell of the room was aromatic, which made Xuelan's mouth drool a bit.
As the monkey demons were about to throw Xuelan into the pot, a high, squeaking voice interrupted them.
"Halt-chu!"
"What is it, Chuchu?" The monkey demon questioned the tiny rat that walked into the room.
Yu Xuelan wanted to burst out laughing by their names, noticing they lacked quite the originality, though they were still cute names.
Perhaps the Earth Demon God wasn't as scary as she thought he'd be, giving his underlings pet names.
"The Young Master has asked for both the woman and the cultivator from Zheng Long tonight-chu!"
"Ok, we'll cleanse them first but it'll take an hour."
"Alright-chu! I'll go report that back to the Young Master-chu!" The rat informed and hurried on.
The monkey cuffed Yu Xuelan's ankles and walked up the small flight of stairs to the pot before pushing Yu Xuelan into it as she sunk into the dark liquid.
There was poison all around the pot that could burn through a human's skin, but it was not harmful to the body of demons. So even if a person tried to escape, the moment their skin comes into contact with the poison it will burn them alive, not leaving a single bone.
Yu Xuelan sighed in relief when she saw it was just some type of dense sauce in the pot. Even if it was hot, she was glad it wasn't oil.
The blind monkey walked to the back cage and unlocked it. The key he held differed from the ones he used to unlock the others. It seemed to be made of porcelain glass with hints of gold foils, producing the impression that the key was of great importance.
Yu Xuelan attempted to perk her head up to see what the demons were going to bring out. Maybe it was some secret ingredient? Vegetable? Meat? To her disappointment, her guesses were all wrong.
It was a person who had walked out of the cage, and her brows raised upon seeing who the person was.
It was Long Wen.
Long Wen glanced up and saw there another person in the pot, though she gave little a reaction.
"Hurry and walk!"
Now they both were in the pot.
Yu Xuelan wanted to burst out in laughter at the strange scene. They were basically bathing in a pot and getting cooked. But if she looked at the bigger picture, she realized they were being prepared to get eaten by a demon god, which was not so funny as it seemed so she stopped laughing in her head.
The two monkeys left the room after making sure the cuffs were secured.
"Young Madam Long," Yu Xuelan whispered.
The cultivator furrowed her brows. "Lin Yuhe? What are you..."
Yu Xuelan explained to Long Wen what she did regarding switching her appearance and the women caged up underground.
"I see. We need to get out of this pot and head back underground to help the women immediately."
Yu Xuelan smiled when she saw Long Wen's noble virtues still remained the same. She hadn't changed as much as Yu Xuelan had thought. Just then, an idea lit in her mind.
"I have a few sticks up my sleeve," Yu Xuelan said happily.
"Do you mean cards?"
"No, my stick-" Yu Xuelan paused and realized that the demons had taken her original robes away.
"With your what?" Long Wen looked at her in utter confusion, "Sticks??"
"Ah, never mind. Wait! I have another idea!" Yu Xuelan's face lit up once again and leaned in closer, leading for Long Wen to subconsciously lean in too.
"Young Madam Long, can you use your noise nullification technique so no one can hear what's going on in this room?" Yu Xuelan whispered.
Long Wen widened her eyes, wondering how Lin Yuhe, a person she had just met recently and a person who was a slave just recently, knew that she could use the noise nullification technique that barely anyone else knew.
Long Wen simply went along, "What are you going to do after that?"
"They said they were going to come back after an hour, right? We can go down to help the girls and teleport them out of here."
Although reluctant, Long Wen drew an incantation underwater, summoning a spatial area that cancelled out all the noise happening inside of the included space so outsiders wouldn't hear.
