Bab 24: #23 CREATING SHADOW LEGION AND DUNGEON
So I provided them brooms and we all headed towards the commoner realm where I had bought a big house during one of my mission, when it was on sale.
After I settle done everyone I let Leo continue leadership, for now, I just gave him enough cash and told them to continue the practice I'll return within a week with enough funds and we will establish our headquarter.
Akira: "so boss what's the name of our squad"
Zero: "it would be Shadow Legion and for an orphanage, it'll be known as Foundation"
Akira: "so boss, why do you want to establish orphanage as you know it's not an easy stuff"
Zero: "simple, in the orphanage we'll train and rais children properly and unlike academy, they would be completely loyal to us, it's not like we would harm them anyway."
"anyway, you have all just returned from prison so take it slow and Leo next week when I return I want a complete list of all the people here with their magic power and battle power" in return he replied, "as you wish master, I'll accomplish it at once."
Zero: "good, I know many of you wanted to know more about me so do I, but time is essential so I must return for now but we'll meet soon, so work hard my friends" saying the last message I used*Soru* and vanish from there and returned toward Black Bull base because I don't want to miss dungeon clearing no matter what it's very essential for my plan not forgetting another sword.
I bought some bandages, other medical supplies and food for upcoming dungeon exploration before moving Black Bulls headquarters
"...997...998...999...1000!" I could see Magna yelling from the entrance. It seems that he was doing push-ups with Luck sitting on his back...!? "Ah, Asta! Welcome back! Where did you go?" Luck smiled innocently, not paying attention to Magna. "nothing just a little shopping and meeting new friends"
Suddenly we all heard "Listen up, a report came saying that a new dungeon was discovered." Yami informs as he puffed out a cloud of smoke. "A dungeon?! For real?!" Magna yelled in surprise.
"A dungeon is a structure where ancient people left artifacts such as old relics. It's an amazing place that has instructions on how to use ancient magic and all types of important magic items lying around. However, those same people set up traps so that no one else but themselves could get to the items. They feared that they could be used for evil, but doesn't that make dungeons all the more exciting?! Plus I may get to meet Robin and Mimosa there." I whispered in the last sentence. "OHHH! As expected of the smart person!" Magna's eyes twinkled.
"Not bad, handsome~ It is because of these many dangerous traps, and the threat of people using the items for evil, Magic Knights are given the task of investigating the dungeon." Vanessa clung onto my arm once again as she drank a bottle of booze.
"And this time, the dungeon is in an area that's close to an enemy kingdom, so to make sure they don't get it, we need to get this mission done quickly and properly. There are tales of how people made kingdoms out of the desert because of the magic items they found in dungeons. But that's not all. There have also been stories about someone who was able to use the most powerful form of magic because of a dungeon." Yami continuing. "You're in luck, pretty boy. The magic emperor himself chose you for the mission."
"WHAT?! The emperor himself?!" Magna screamed in surprise.
"I accept this mission!" I smiled as I pumped my fist up.
"well you are alone more than enough for this dungeon but take Noelle and Magna to gain experience and training along with Luck " said captain Yami "ok, captain"
So we four departures for dungeon through Finral's space magic. After we left Vanessa asked captain Yami " Captain why send Luck, isn't Asta is more than enough to take care of them " to which Yami replied " Luck's abilities to sense mana is second to none but his personality needs some change, maybe fighting in the team will help him. and also they will be working with Golden Down"
~~Timeskip to the dungeon~~
"How about fire bull?" Magna said.
"No way! Silvantus Schnauzer!" Noelle insisted. "fire bull!" "Silvantus Schnauzer!"
"Ow! Ow! Ow! What did I do this time, fire bull?" Magna yelled as the sparrow pecked onto his skull.
"See! It's because he prefers Silvantus schnauzer, right!" Noelle looked at the bird. Right now, Noelle and Magna were arguing over the name that the sparrow (Anti-magic bird).
Hmm..."Nero." I said out loud. The bird then stopped pecking Magna's head and snuggled its head to my neck.
we continued inside until Magna started running and his head was hardly bumped against a wall. "Ouch! That hurt a lot!" Tears welled up in his eyes as he rubbed his forehead.
"Ah, it must be here." Luck put his hand forward onto the wall and it opened sideways. "Wow-" I said in amazement. The high walls that showed cracks and moss growing in it made it feel like we were in one of Indiana Jones' dungeons. "So cool!"
"This area is being upheld by magic. I can feel more mana in here than I ever did in my life" Luck stated. "This is the first time I've seen a place built with this much mana." Noelle agreed with Luck. "Really?" Magna and I both asked in unison. "Wait... You both can't feel the mana around us?" Noelle looked at us in disbelief. "Not at all " I replied.
"Royalty like you has it in droves, while I have pitiful amount to wield magic!!" Magna cried comically as he fell to the floor and repeatedly banged onto it, showing his agony. "Hm?" A magic circle glowed up on the tile where Magna was banging his hand on. A huge pile of rocks came flying at Magna. I used my sword to negate the magic trap. "That was close! Thanks Asta!"
"We should be careful." Noelle's face tensed up. "Hey Magna, check this out!" Luck pointed at another tile that had a circle on it.
"Hm what?" Magna stepped closer to get a better look. Luck then pushed Magna into the circle, activating a magic trap. Luckily, Magna managed to react in time to burn the trap and saved himself from injuries.
Luck... What a d#ck move... But I like that side of you "What the hell was that for?!" Magna yelled.[a/n: now don't get any wrong idea and start pairing Luck with Asta coz in past someone did that with Ray, seriously guys it's too much]
"That was fun~" Luck smiled innocently.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Noelle gasped. "Oh~ There's another one over here! Follow me, Asta!" Luck grabbed my hand and dragged me to activate several other traps with him. I prayed that they wouldn't die from a magic trap."NOO0O!!" I could hear Noelle's and Magna's screams as they cleaned up after our mess.
"This is so much fun~" Luck. 'Having this guy around... shortens your lifespan!' Noelle, Magna and me thought.
"Your anti-magic sword is really amazing! It's probably because of that weapon that the magic emperor gave you this mission. I'd love to fight you. With your sword around, we won't have a problem clearing this dungeon, right?" Luck praised me.
Luck finally let go of my wrists and flew up with the help of his magic. 'Lightning equip magic: Thor's boots'
"Something important came up. So, you guys will be handling the clearing of this dungeon alone." Luck didn't give us enough time to comprehend his words before whisking off to the distance. well I could stop have him but there was no need.
"What the hell is that guy thinking?!" Noelle's face paled. "That was so cool!" Magna praised, completely forgetting the fact he ditched them.
"I can't believe this!" Noelle tried to storm off in anger before getting caught by plant vines. She was then hauled up and almost dropped into a big venus flytrap.
I quickly took out a small dagger from my inventory and cut down the vines. "Instant death." I applied Haki to the dagger. 'what, do you really think I would use Yoru or DS for this small fries'
After a few seconds, the big plant turned into small pieces then it shriveled up and let out a high-pitched screech before dying.
Suddenly there was an increase in the wind.
