Bab 147: 'Reign'

Maria averted her gaze. She knew Reign very well. After these nerve-racking questions, the danger will follow. Now, what should she do?

"Yes. Ma'am," Maria peeked at Jowanna. She was also afraid. Did she make a wrong decision? If she didn't offer to help Jowanna and Amber, would they be in this situation?

"Mhm. I see. Then. What are you still doing here? Aren't you going somewhere?"

All of them were too stunned to speak. Reign's sentence was strangely surprising. No, instead of relief, they felt danger.

"Aren't you leaving?" Reign's face turned cold again. Her words and tone of speaking confused them.

What? Should they leave or stay? Although she gave them her permission, they were certain that wasn't running through her mind.

"L-Let's go. Uh. W-We're leaving." Amber said as she grabbed Jowanna's arm and was about to leave the house, but both of them were hauled back after Reign clasped their hair and violently pulled them closer.
