Sherrie flinched. "Request?"
"Yes. She was persistently telling me that she wanted to quit. I understand her, so I accepted it. So, I am here to ask you to look for someone to replace her," Lauren told which lowered Sharrie's head.

Sharrie was surprised after Lauren held both of her hands on the table. She confusedly looked at her.
"I... I think this is the right time to tell you this, Sharrie," Lauren started.
"I want to apologize for what I have done to you and Timothy. I should've accepted you back then. I shouldn't have hindered your relationship. Now, it affected your family."
Sharrie was taken aback. She didn't know what to say. "M-Mrs. Pres—"
"Shh. Listen to me. I know, you're doing everything to meet my expectation. I know you just wanted Trish to do the things you never did. You wanted them to be accepted and acknowledged by me." Lauren shook her head.
