Instead of giving her a straight answer, Heidi just walked away from her. "So, you did tell him."
"I asked you, Heidi, what is it for." Amber clenched her fist. "Are you passing the blame on my sister, huh?"
Heidi was taken aback, then she belly-laughed. "Sister? After what she'd done to you, you still want to protect her? That's unexpected."
"Heidi... What exactly are you planning? Why are you going in circles and involving us? Why don't you just tell them everything?" Amber wasn't curious anymore, she was eager.
Heidi coldly stared at Amber. "You'll understand it soon."
"What kind of answer is that, Heidi?!" Amber annoyedly asked while following her to the kitchen. "Just give me a straight answer!"
"Amber. Don't cross the line. You know that I can control your sister's way of thinking, right?" Heidi said in the coldest tone.
"Is that a threat?"
Heidi looked away and started to wash her hands. "No. It's just a warning that you shouldn't ignore."
