A group of people played inside until past one in the morning before the gathering dispersed, and everyone left one after another.

Secretary Song admonished before getting into the car, "President Gu, I'm heading home now, please be careful on your way."

"Okay," Gu Nanqiao nodded slightly, "You be careful too."

Secretary Song responded and then got into the taxi.

As the car gradually faded from her sight, Gu Nanqiao looked around at the dark night, her brows slightly furrowed, her thoughts a tangled mess.

It took her a moment to come back to her senses, and when she turned around, she was surprised to see Huo Jingting had not left yet. Her brows furrowed even deeper, "The meeting is over, why hasn't Vice President Huo left?"

Huo Jingting stood behind her, with a half-smoked cigarette between his fingers, puffing away casually. Upon hearing her speak, he stepped forward, "I'm about to leave."
