Bab 8: Chapter 8
"Myles heard that?" I asked myself quietly
"I also heard that." He said
That was humanly impossible. He was more than ten feet away from me.
Unless...
"Heard what? I wasn't paying any attention." Said Jackson
"Julian is going to rehab for abuse of alcohol and well... weed." Myles said
"How come you aren't?" I ask putting my hand on my waist
"Because I stopped before this semester started." Myles said
"Neil and Jackson said still you smoked." I said looking at Jackson then back to Myles
"Where you'd get that? You weren't even in that room for five minutes!" Myles shouted
"I just assumed since back in highschool you and Julian-"
Myles curt him off, "You know people can change right?" He huffed, "I changed for a someone in particular..."
Myles seemed to daze off.
*Myles flashback*
Julian and I where sitting by a tree near the school puffing away. Then she walked up to us.
"Julian you do know you could get in big trouble for this." She said
"Deans chill, 'Kay? I'm pretty careful." Julian said
"Hey man maybe you should listen to your sister!" I said
"Thanks Myles." She smiled
Then she walked away with Jackson. I despised him. I knew they where going to end up together... But if never have a chance with her unless I clean up my act.
"Someone's got a crush on my sister, huh? Well get over it she likes Jackson... Not you. You have no chance. Guys like us never do." Julian says
"Like us? Us? There is no us! I'm done Julian... Okay... I'm done with it all." I said
I threw the joint and stomped on it.
"I stopped two years ago man." Myles said
"Wait you said you stopped for someone... Who was that?" Jackson asked
"It doesn't matter... She doesn't care anyway... She does matter, but to her I don't." He said as he strolled off
I ran up to him.
"Hey are you okay?" I ask
"Yeah I'm fine... So I heard Casey and Delilah are trying to go to the underworld to get the spell from her dead grandma." Myles said
We started walking... I don't know where to but I wanted to get something out of him. I left Jackson and my motorcycle behind. He had my keys so he'd be able to take it to the college.
"How'd you know?" I ask
"I talk to Delilah, the day you guys found out I did too." He explained
"Oh, I didn't know you and Delilah where friends." I said
"We're not, Jace and I are so we talk." He says
"Jace is okay with that?" I ask
"Well yeah, he knows I'd never take Delilah from him." He says
"Is that because he knows about her?" I ask
"Yeah, if your trying to-"
"No I'm not, I just wanted to know if your okay." I said
"Yeah, hey you want some pizza? I kinda hungry." He smiled
"Sure." I say
We both walk to the nearest pizza place order pizza and walk out.
"So what are you gonna do with the dorm to yourself?" I ask
"Honestly I don't know... Probably clean it and invite Neil and Jackson back in." Myles shrugs, "You like bacon right?"
"Hell yeah." I shout
We arrived at the college and the sun was starting to set. We walked into Myles dorm. I walked in and the stench of weed and cigarette smoke smacked me in the face.
"I know it's bad." He said
"Honestly I thought I would have been used to it because you and Julian- sorry." I say
"It's okay, it great to be reminded about it... I get to see how far I've come." He smiled
He set the pizza down then walked to the window and opened it. It almost immediately smelled better. He brought the boxes over and we sat and ate them. We finished.
"Wanna start cleaning?" I ask
"You don't have to." He said
"Come on I insist." I say, "You bought me a box of pizza it's the least I can do."
"Okay, I'll help." He said
He got up and went to the kitchen and pulled out a few cleaning supplies. He threw a bottle of windex and fabreeze. I took at rag from the closet.
A couple of hours passed and we had a garbage bag filled of bottles, buds, and smoke smelling clothes.
"At this point I need a new wardrobe." He sighed
"Well, you can wash your sheets and then you should be free." I say
He smiled but I quickly faded.
"Hey can I ask you a question?" I ask Myles
"Yeah." He said
"How'd you not get tempted while living with Julian?" I ask
"I had goal." He responded looking out the window
I looked too. The moon was fully up. To be more precise it was the full moon.
"Shoot!" Myles said
I looked at him and his eyes turned yellow and his teeth, ears, and claws grew. Then before we where both wolves.
"What do we do?" He asked
"I don't know we can't stay here." I say
"Where on the fourth floor, and we can't use the door." He says
"We jump then." I say
"Why where your eyes red?" Myles asked
"No, my eyes are yellow." I say
"They where red when you transformed." Myles said
"We'll discuss this later, after we're out." I say
We both back up to the end of the room. Then we run to the window and break through and land on the ground. The glass fell to the ground behind us.
"You know I'm gonna have to pay for that." Myles said
"I know... I help." I say
"No need." He says
Then we see four more wolves run up to us.
"Lola?" I ask
"Neil, Jackson, and Delilah." Lola said
"We better run, Mandy's a hunter!" Said Neil
"How'd you know?" I ask
"Her eyes turned black and she looked like she wanted to kill us." I say
"There is many reasons shed wanna kill you though." Jackson said
All of us start to run towards the nearby woods. Once in the woods we spotted two more wolves and a figure that was human.
"Adena?" Asked the black coated Wolf
