Bab 5: My life 2

As Diogo walked towards the group of women he earned himself a few glances from the men in the bar. Some nodding in approval and some envious at the man's courage.

"Hello ladies, seems like the party is here." Diogo said awkwardly. "What did you just say? Sorry we don't understand that language." Alex, Kiara's friend said. Diogo being a scholar was well versed in multiple languages and wasted no time adjusting. "Umm sorry about that but I was hoping to join you guys." Diogo quickly collected himself.

"Sure" Alex replied after conversing with her friends with her eyes. "So are you guys here for the Euros? I like girls who are into football you know maybe we can be friends. Hahahaha" Diogo said after getting comfortable with the girls. Alex the ever talkative one replied "No actually, we are here on business but Kiara is crazy about football. Her older brother plays non-league football back home in England." Kiara sent a deadly glare at Alex that simply said 'too much information' Diogo reading what that glare meant quickly organised his thoughts and shifted the conversation to some other things. "Sorry we have to leave now. It was nice hanging out with you umm… what was your name again?" Alex questioned. "My name is Diogo Santos."

"Right Diogo bye for now." Alex said impatiently they had to leave quickly. "Hey umm Kiara can I have your phone number? Maybe we can you know hang sometime." Kiara looked hesitant but eventually she gave in and gave Diogo her phone number. "Kiara Johnson." Diogo muttered as he watched the retreating figures of Kiara and her friends.

Turns out Kiara and her friends are models from England who came to Switzerland for a photoshoot to some advert. Diogo met up with Kiara after some time and the two got to know each other very well that on one fateful night they did something that will change both their lives.

March 2008 in a certain hospital in Paris France.

"Kiara, you were pregnant? Why didn't you tell me? Why?" Diogo said his voice shaky. Kiara with a baby boy in her arms looked over at Diogo and calmly replied, "Sorry Diogo. I would have but after I did some research on you I found you were married and that you possibly wouldn't want the child. Might even force me to an abortion so I decided to tell you after he was born."

Diogo looked at the infant in Kiara's arms and couldn't help but smile when he thought about the fact of having another son but that smile disappeared when he thought of the consequences of him having that child.
