Bab 219: Impersonating Little One

Gu Maowen first stood in place and bowed to the audience, then walked forward to the piano, bowing once again to the audience present. With his two bows, the enthusiastic applause continued uninterrupted. It wasn't until he sat down at the piano that the whole venue quieted down, focusing attentively on this soul-cleansing, ear-cleansing musical event.

Gu Maowen had his own unique style. His melodies were filled with sadness yet subtly contained a layer of hope. The flowing piano music rose and fell, interpreting a piano piece in a unique and unconventional manner. He played a total of six piano pieces of different styles, each one perfectly presented, whether melancholic, lingering, or passionate and unrestrained.

Until the end of the last piano piece, Gu Maowen stood up, bowed to the audience, and completed his concert performance for the evening. The applause thundered throughout the venue, continuing for a long time.
