Bab 5: The Heavens Showed Mercy
Xue Luli presses her lips in other to contain her laughter. She turned her head to look at Lu Xi.
His face was already red from blushing too much.
Before Xue Luli could say anything, he repeated what his twin brother said.
Lu Li wanted to go along with their brother's statement but Xue Luli refused.
"No way... I know you can't take a bath by yourself so don't try to fool me"
Xue Luli carried Lu Li on her arms and said.
"When you're done bathing, come to my room. If I see that you're very clean, then there's no problem but if I'm not satisfied, I remove your clothes and give you a bath myself" Xue Luli said.
Her last statement made the boys bow their heads. They were embarrassed as their faces turned red.
Xue Luli smiled after seeing their expression.
Xue Luli carried Little Li to her bathroom and gave her a bath.
After she finished bathing her, she dressed Little Li in a beautiful lilac gown with a matching sweater. Xue Luli styled her hair into a beautiful ponytail.
Lu Jin and Lu Xi who had also finished bathing came inside Xue Luli's room and saw little Li looking like a little princess.
Though Little Li didn't say anything, her face was beaming. This is the first time she was wearing such beautiful clothes.
Xue Luli walked towards the boys and examined them thoroughly.
Since she was satisfied, she praised them.
She also gave them new clothes and asked them to change into it.
After seeing the way they were dressed yesterday, Xue Luli felt extremely bad and decided to shop for them. She wasn't sure if they will like what she bought but it was better than wearing clothes that they had overgrown.
"Go on...come show me when you're done" Xue Luli said as she gave them the bag.
After the boys left, Xue Luli took Little Li to the mirror.
"Do you like it?" Xue Luli asked.
Little Li stared at the mirror. She really couldn't believe it. She was looking like a little princess.
Lu Li had always dreamt of having clothes like these and she would always get envious when she saw girls her age looking like beautiful princesses.
Right now, she was so happy that she didn't know when she started smiling.
"Yes" Little Li answered happily.
Minutes later, Little Jin and Little Xi walked in.
Both Lu Jin and Lu Xi wore short - sleeve shirts and vests with a pair of shorts each. Since it was spring, Xue Luli thought that it would be suitable to buy them vests. They could take it off if the weather becomes hot. The same goes for Little Li.
Though what Xue Luli bought for the children were all casual, the three of them looked charming and exquisite.
Xue Luli smiled happily as she looked at the three of them. The Heavens really showed her mercy by giving her such beautiful children
