The dog stopped abruptly and obediently lay down, not daring to move.

"Sister Weining, happy New Year,"

Josie called out politely, her greeting clear and bright.

Liang Weining gave a slight smile and ruffled the boy's head, "Good boy, happy New Year."

"Will Sister Weining be staying in Beijing this year?" Josie asked.

"I probably will be."
