While admiring the Prince, they felt a sudden chill run down their spines.

The guards "!!!!"

Alarmed, they looked for the source and were shocked to find their King staring at them coldly, like he would gouge out their eyes at any moment.There was even a gloomy aura emanating from him in waves.

The guards looked at each other stiffly. What did they even do?

"Welcome, Your Majesty" the guards greeted, going on their knees when they arrived at the dungeon gates. "Welcome, Your highness, Prince Ron of Ashenmore."

Prince Ron smiled and was about to answer when a cold wind blew and he sneezed so hard he stumbled backwards a bit.

King Zedekiel was quick to react and steadied the Prince with a hand to his lower back.
