Bab 45: Ch85. Ties that bind

Kurt noticed two things when the stat burst hit him.

The first was that it wasn't that the students were especially weak, no.

It was just that the level of the beasts in that first floor of the Nest was absurdly high. At least C+, something that a teenager awakened would never be able to overcome on their own.

The second was that the whole Nest around him gave off the same energy he felt in the [MEMORY FRAGMENT], when his other version first entered thew [HIDDEN NEST].

And it could mean one out of two things, but he didn't give room to these possibilities, throwing them to the back of his mind, and focusing solely on the task at hand.

Which was slaughtering every single Diwerewolf that appeared in front of him.

When the two beasts appeared, Evellyn and Nikolai screamed, thinking that Kurt might not have noticed them in time, and that he would probably die.

But what happened after that took their breath away like jumping off of a cliff.
