Bab 44: Caught!

Sal, finally armed with fresh intel he could use, couldn't wait for the event to end. He didn't bother to wait or knock on the door, instead storming into Don Luca's private office where the Don, along with his trusted associates, Sergio and Raff, were engaged in a confidential meeting.

The three, startled by the abrupt intrusion, fell silent as they turned to face Sal. His intense gaze caused all three of them to instinctively reach for their weapons, uncertain of the hothead's intentions.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Sergio demanded, his eyes fixed on Sal. Sal, however, ignored him, focusing solely on Don Luca. With a forceful bang of his hand on the table, he demanded, "Who the fuck is Vincent Moretti?" His question hung heavy in the air, catching Don Luca off guard. The name, unknown to anyone else within the family except for him, had unexpectedly emerged from Sal's lips.
