Bab 225: I'm coming

Darkness. It envelops me, cold and suffocating, like being submerged in a void with no end. I reach out, but my fingers grasp nothing just the endless, empty space around me.

My heart pounds in my chest, each beat echoing in my ears, but it's the only sound I can hear. I try to move, but my body feels heavy, unresponsive, as if I'm weighed down by invisible chains. 

"Where am I?" The words leave my lips, but they vanish into the darkness, swallowed by the abyss. There's no echo, no sign that they were ever spoken. Am I dead?

The thought comes unbidden, creeping into my mind like a poisonous whisper. Is this what death feels like? Cold, lonely, empty?

Panic starts to rise in my chest, clawing at my throat. I try to remember what happened, how I got here, but my thoughts are fragmented, scattered like pieces of a broken mirror. I remember pain, intense and searing, like my very soul was being torn apart. I remember… Thalira. And Lise.
