Bab 247: Muffled sobs

Lyra and Noah stepped out of the Eagle tribe just like how they had entered. Hand in hand. All along their way, Noah had a hard time seeing his mate as she tried to her keep face straight and devoid of emotion. He could see that she was feeling sad and could also see her masking those emotions with a stoic expression. His heart hurt seeing her like this. Maybe, he would have felt a little relaxed if she shouted and cried. This silence of hers was more excruciating than anything else.

And when they were about to reach Blake, Noah saw his mate trying to cover her bruised face with a scarf.

"Lilly!" Blake's eyes sparkled when he caught sight of his mate. He rushed towards her with the snake guards behind him. With just a few steps, he reached her.
