VALENCIA'S POV

"So?" I looked at Carl with hope as soon as he entered the house.

"So?" He asked me back, and I rolled my eyes.

He clearly knew what I was talking about, but was deliberately acting naive.

"Come on," I looked at him earnestly.

He looked at me as I followed him inside the house like a little kid before sighing.

"He didn't say much, honestly. Just told me that I need to stay close to you and -" He made a dramatic pause.

"And?" I walked behind him, but rather than saying anything, he pulled out his phone.

I thought he was about to show me some kind of photo or video or any data that might help me, but when he started playing songs, I looked at him confused.

"What -" I started, but before I could complete my sentence, Carl held my hand and twirled me around, smiling at me sheepishly.

"He said I should make you happy," Carl winked at me.
