Leaving the nest…

The day Hong Ruolan was to leave for HongSheng Holdings, her mother put up so much fuss, despite deciding that it was the best course of action for her daughter to learn the company ropes and become the take over from her father in the nearest future.

The whole Hong clan gathered downstairs in the glamorously furnished living room to say their goodbyes to each other. Hong Ruolan was dressed in a dark long sleeved blouse with a bow at the top and a dark coat draped over her shoulders and dark pants, the earrings she wore was the one her mother just got for her on their recent trip to the jeweler, a long dangling triangular gold earring with a sapphire shaped like teardrops at the center.
