"That is because it was said by a grade-9 sorcerer. Your eyes obviously would have not seen such a low position. As such, you missed out a lot," Saleen suppressed his urge to run, and elaborated his point firmly.

"Good point, but, what is…?" the great grandmaster lifted their hand and took off Saleen's mask, revealing his face. The action broke the last bit of Water Shield on his head. They smiled, seeing the pale marking on the spot between his brows.

"Seems like you have quite a lot of enemies. That is a mark of hatred, I take it. Who gave you that?"

"An adherent from the purgatory plane. A believer of the God of the Underworld, I guess," Saleen conjured another Water Shield on himself before answering. Saleen had to spend quite a lot of effort to speak underwater.
