Louis was quite surprised that they ran into Farhan and the other members of the Scarcia Clan like this. Since these people seemed to have been waiting for them right in front of the manor, it meant that Farhan already knew they were going to be here or that he was confident enough to put up a fight against them.

Louis seemed to tense up in an instant. He quickly projected his power to scan the area around the manor worriedly. The Scarcia Clan had managed to outsmart him many times before. This time, he would not let that happen. If he detected something out of the ordinary or sensed the presence of a sage mage, he would take his people back right away. The fight had not begun yet. There was still time to retreat.
