Bab 118: The Deathly Banquet

People were burned with the power of Fire, bodies crushed mercilessly by the power of the unyielding Earth. The once refreshing Water turned into a deadly wave that took away life after life. Yesterday’s breeze turned into today’s deadly storm that swept away the lives of countless soldiers. Colors flew all over the place, looking almost like festive fireworks, as mages fought with their magic. The people’s blood dyed the flowers red, and their pain-filled cries became the only music played on this occasion. At last, the deathly banquet had begun.

The war had just begun, but it seemed like the goddess of war had already chosen to be on the side of Bernier City. The number of casualties on the enemy’s side was double the number of people Bernier had lost. If this continued, Bernier City could gain the upper hand due to their greater numbers.
