Bab 100: Scream!

Arias’ eyes were cold as he examined the headless bodies of the mages whom he had just killed with his own hands. Something about this was bothering him. Since the traitors were people who used to work for the clan, how were they able to tell their allies apart from their enemies? Did they all recognize each other from their faces? But there were hundreds of people in the clan. It would be difficult to remember who was who. And then he saw it, a black eye on the back of their hands. He finally understood how these people were able to recognize their own allies.
