Bab 294: Emptiness

If he could move as fast as he wished, Arias would have appeared right by Olivia’s side the moment she was attacked. In the eyes of the onlookers, the Cloud Stride skill was such an extraordinary skill; its speed was superior to any other movement skill they had ever seen. For Arias, however, he felt like it was too slow.

The mages who hadn’t gone far away were able to see everything that happened. They watched what Arias was doing in shock, all of them wondering what exactly Arias was thinking to act so recklessly. What he did was no different from running towards death.

All of a sudden, Arias started moving differently. He suddenly had an idea. It might not be a really good one, but it might save the lives of those two people. ‘That demon’s gone on a rampage because it was injured. If I can injure it, I’ll definitely be able to divert its attention.’

“Master Jordan, Master Gailion! I’ll draw the demon’s attention away. Please save them.”
