Arias flew back to the royal palace with two captured spies in tow. He carried the two men as casually as if he were holding a couple of snacks he had just bought from the market, effortlessly lifting them as if their combined weight was no more than a few oranges.

Now that Arias had reached the level of an emperor mage, not only had his magical power increased, but his physical strength had also grown considerably. In the world of magic, it was common for a mage’s physical abilities to strengthen as their magical power rose.

As he flew back, Arias moved just as discreetly as when he had left the palace, causing no alarm to the people below. Even the soldiers stationed on the palace walls had no idea their king had flown right over their heads twice.
