Bab 184: A Fraction of the Thunder God’s Soul

“You must’ve seen it, the two gods leading their armies to fight against each other during the great war. The man who commanded Fire was the Fire God who’d slaughtered tens of thousands of his enemies. And the other, the man who controlled the power of Thunder, was the Thunder God, a supreme being above all others. For a certain reason, the two gods turned against one another. This world was chosen as their battleground. The creatures were divided into two sides. The great war ended in calamity, and countless treasures were left behind as the result of the war, including the one that now resides in your body: a fraction of the Thunder God’s soul, one of the most precious treasures among all.”

The voice echoed throughout the temple.

“But why is this ‘fraction of the Thunder God’s soul’ in my body?”

Arias asked. At least the lightning in his core of magic didn’t seem to be anything wicked--if its name was anything to go by.
