Bab 43: In the carriage!

Xie Yang slid open the door and walked into his room. Zhang Xiu and his wife sat opposite each other. A table was in between them. A few books were on it. There was a notebook in front of Lin Hua. She had practiced writing on it, so there were a few messy words on the paper. They looked like children's scribbling. Xie Yang found them really cute, and his eyes curved into a smile. His wife was a whole jar of sweetness, ah!

"I hope you have been well since our last meeting, my lord."

"Good morning, lord husband."

The two ladies greeted him, and he replied to them with a nod.

"I feel good seeing you two getting together like friends. You are, right?"

Zhang Xiu gave him a slight nod and said, "My lady is lovely and not playful, and I feel comfortable interacting with her, so I have no issue being her study companion."
