A few hours had passed since the death match and now Zed could be seen washing himself on the large lake located in Jun Mo Xie's workshop.

Water dripped down his bare body as he bathed himself while his grey eyes were blankly staring at his own broken reflection on the rippling water.

'...I have an innocent unborn infant's blood on my hands.... That fact is undeniable.'

'Morally speaking, I should be condemned for what I have done but.... strangely enough, I do not feel anything.'

And I know why that's so.

Zed clenched his hands and removed his gaze from his broken reflection in the lake.

But as if opposing his belief, his subconsciousness showed him a brief memory of his little sister when she was just an infant.

Zed glared as he felt as if something inside him was ushering him away from apathy.

'...Is this my emotions...? or is this my heart demons acting up?'
