Bab 40: Week 24 - pt 2

13th February

Autumn had met Connor at the bridge the whole walk to school was quiet. ‘You okay babe? your awfully quiet.’

‘I’m fine Con.’ she lied how could she tell him her shrink was blackmailing her to meet him so he’d keep her secret to whom had caused the damage to her eyes sight and who had threw the snowball that had caused it.

‘Are you sure?’ He questioned her.

‘I’m fine just drop it Con let’s just get into school.’

‘Sure.’

He dropped his arm over her shoulder as they walked towards school he gave his friends a warning look not to piss her off let’s hope they took the hint.

They all said their goodbyes going to registration she could barely concentrate on anything right now and Stenton was making it worse. ‘Yet red.’

‘Stenton.’

‘Boy you look rough.’

‘I’m fine.’

‘You sure red you look like you haven’t slept a wink.’

‘I’m fine.’ She gritted out why couldn’t no one take the hint and leave her the fuck alone?
