Bab 69: Chapter 69: There is another

Hearing his words, Lamirosa went on the offensive first. His movement speed accelerated to a new height. Vulcan noticed that Lamirosa's armor briefly lit up with the same traces as before, though these ones glowed a different color than the translucent barrier from earlier.

Lamirosa swiped his saber diagonally, causing even the air itself to split. To his surprise, Vulcan simply bent his body slightly to avoid the attack. Frustration gnawed at him as he unleashed countless slashes, yet none of them connected.

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE?!" Lamirosa yelled in anger.

As he swung his sword, it suddenly got stuck on something hard. At first, he thought he had finally landed a hit and that his weapon was lodged in the golem's metal armor. But reality showed a completely different scene. Vulcan had caught the tip of the sword between his index finger and thumb.
