Ringkasan
Auroras haunt the city of Darwin at night, and no one knows why. Marcus Reynolds, a meteorologist, struggles to provide an answer even at the risk of losing his own family. But what can you do when it seems that even the sky has turned against you?

Very engaging introduction, with a good character development. Effective language has been used, to create a captivating start. Good job, can't wait to read the rest of the novel, if there is any, so I hope you continue!
Story's pretty well written apart from the occasional massive paragraphs which (at least to me anyway) are a pain on the yes. The only other real gripe I would have with this how the story would continue on from there if he already lost his family? One of the stakes established in the synopsis is already eliminated by chapter 1. Unless you do a re-write/retcon the original stakes established in synopsis would have already been eliminated by the first chapter (and no please don't do the old chestnut of 'it was all a dream' as a retcon.)
