Bab 26: Lost

Rose's Pov. 

  It has been almost a month since I last heard from my father, so I decided to go see him for the first time since he got locked up. His cell was darker than the night, and the odour of decayed human waste let a stench so strong in the air that I had to cover my nose. "Give us some time alone," I said to the guard that followed me into the cell. 

"We are not allowed to do that." His reply was cold.

"Please, let me have this moment with my father, I haven't spoken to him in a long time, please."

"No"

"There is no point begging him," my father said, his voice sounded dry and tired.
