Time was running out.

Julian's lips fell open in amazement.

"You will?" He whispered in disbelief.

"I will," Maximillian drilled him with a penetrating gaze. "In fact, we should not waste any time. The jewelry store my family often frequents is closing in an hour. We should go out to pick out an engagement ring now."

Lost in their own world, the couple remained oblivious to the commotion they were causing.

"Ahem."

Augustin Haberkorn, the Bureau's Deputy General, arrived just in time to see one of his best agents in the middle of a public love declaration.

"Deputy General..."

Augustin patted Maximillian's shoulder in a reassuring manner.

"Go home, Agent Grant. Take good care of your partner."

"... Yes, Deputy General."

The two men thus left the Bureau's headquarters.
