"Hey, Dad!" The caller was Jiang Li's father, Jiang Youdao.

"What took you so long to answer? Did I interrupt your shining moment?" Hearing this, Zhou Chao couldn't help but laugh awkwardly.

"Dad, not at all. We just got back home with Jiang Li, so I got held up for a bit. Is there something you need?" Zhou Chao quickly changed the subject, getting to the point.

"It sounds like I called at the wrong time?" Jiang Youdao's voice raised a notch.

Although Zhou Chao knew Jiang Youdao was joking, he still said with a wry smile, "Dad, you can call anytime."

"You rascal. Today, I'm calling to scold you. Running around with Jiang Li like that, don't you know she should stay at home and take care of herself now that she's pregnant? If anything happens, I'll teach you a lesson."

Listening to these stern words, yet with obvious concern, Zhou Chao couldn't help but chuckle.
