Lionel Yeager squinted his eyes and sloppily flopped onto his bed, pretending to be asleep.

The window of the room was quietly opened, a figure jumped in, landing steadily within the room without making the slightest sound.

If not for Lionel's sufficiently powerful perception, he might not have realized someone had entered.

The person walked towards the bedside after entering the room.

As he came closer, in an instant!

He flicked his wrist and a sharp blade appeared in his hand, thrusting towards Lionel's heart!

But, just at the instant when the blade thrust downwards!

Lionel raised his right hand and harshly slapped outwards!

Accompanied by a crisp sound of metal clashing against stone, the man was shocked into stumbling backwards several steps before he stabilized himself!

"Damn, I faced an assassination attempt just a few hours ago!

I can't believe I'm facing another assassination attempt now. Isn't there any end to this tonight!"
