The main hall was just like before, the black knight being cocky and abusing their strength on the knights of the Empire. Some even kicked and punched them out of fun to show how much advantage they held now.
However, these black knights did not even try to go against the three leads at the top. They were overseeing the whole operation. One was with a sword, while the other carried a huge pike with a spikey mallet at the end; a chain connected both ends of the weapon as he sat on the hall fence, watching over the hostages like a hawk.
The third was an old man who wore a drape like a wizard. His body was curved due to old age, but there was a sinister smile; it would seem he was worse than he looked. Two sharp weapons were peeking from the corner of his drape.
Eugene felt that old man’s stare in his eyes before approaching him.
