Bab 820: Bk 3: Ch– 248 Last Wish(pt-1)

The trial ended with the announcement of execution. The most surprising of all is that the Emperor did not order the death penalty. He ruled the prosecution to be more of life imprisonment. However, the choices were different. While most of the members of the black knight captured accepted the lifelong imprisonment verdict some of the others decided to be killed by the death penalty. The first one to ask for this was Maria. The scene of the long trial played on Nichlas’s mind as he watched the golden sky above. It was as if something ominous was going to happen. The sun was no longer around as the clouds only let a bit of the light out making a rosey glow around the sky. His mind drifts to the scenes of the trial.

“We always ask for one last wish to the prisoners before they for the island. What is your wish Lady Maria?” Aldrich asked.

He was dissatisfied with the verdict. Aldrich wanted them all dead while Ciaran wanted them alive. He wants to have more answers from them.
