This was of course the mayor of mid-mount's bunker that was underground his house, and the town was no other than Mid-mount which was still going through even at this stage. The mayor's assistant kept taking glances at a flat screen-pad he held, and everytime he took a look, he'll raise his head to find the mayor's questioning gaze on him which always turned extra hard whenever the assistant shook his head to convey that whatever they were waiting for hadn't happened.
