Back in the days,the black mage was known as a genius among his colleagues who were also known magicians and sorcerers. His fame was quite widespread throughout the entire continent he was residing and even beyond, all for good reason as well. For the black mage was the Only person who had managed to gain control of time among all the other greats of his time. This was something he had researched all his life and had failed to control for most of his time as a Mortal until he was almost at the end of his life. He had been quite old when he had found the way to control time, and although his understanding and control of this element of magic was quite limited, rough and almost barbaric, the old black mage had been ecstatic to have finally achieved his aim.
