Not wanting to give her time to take back her words, Vincent captured Aurora's lips, enjoying the softness he so desperately missed. To give her space to deal with the old woman, he had not been able to kiss her as he wanted. How was it possible for another person to hold his heart like this? For him to crave her touch? She had opened his heart that became cold after his parent's death and made it warm again.

Aurora on the other hand thought of herself to be a fool for almost missing out on how close they were at this moment. She melted into Vincent's touch and moaned as he bit her bottom lip as gently as he could, requesting that she let him in. She did as he wanted and soon enough their tongues were dancing to the same rhythm.
