Bab 91: Dreary Fall

I look at Seviro intently with my arm crossed over my chest, back leaning on the backrest of the chair. He's preparing the table for the food he cooks for me. By the smell of it, I could guess that it is a chicken masala which I didn't know he was capable of cooking.

I suddenly remember when Viscos background checks him without informing me. Seviro's family are wealthy and influential in this country but I wasn't given a chance to know more about it. I wasn't that interested before, but now I wonder.

Is his family the same as mine?

That's the same question stuck in my head the first time I run away and met a lot of different people. I am curious how my family differs from others or how my family same as others.

"A penny for your thoughts?"

I drag back to my reverie when I heard Seviro's voice. I blink my eyes and look at him. He's smiling at me so I flash a smile at him.
