Donnie's target was naturally not going to be an ordinary hotel.

But, as Robert had said, if one wanted to construct an iconic hotel in Atlantic City, then the total investment had to be at least 5 million US Dollars.

In 1924, the Atlantic City Hall, advocated by Nucky, had become the iconic building of Atlantic City, and the total investment in this City Hall reached 15 million US Dollars.

Of course, excluding the money that Nucky and the power structures behind him embezzled and the various construction contractors' profits, and adding everything up, the total investment was definitely close to 7 million US Dollars!

Now, Atlantic City had not yet fully flourished due to Prohibition, so if Donnie wanted to build this hotel at this time, a total investment of around 5 million US Dollars would suffice!
