In the coming days, doctors came in and out of the house like they owned the place. It wasn't because of anything serious but rather, Hae-won was getting daily treatment, checkups, therapy and rehabilitation exercises.
His legs were too weak after being in a coma for over a year and so they needed to get them back in order.
A week went by, two weeks and three weeks and Hae-won was finally able to take ten steps.
Each time he tried to walk, his legs would tremble. It was almost like the feeling of walking on water in the desert but it wasn't a nice feeling. Why couldn't he just stay in bed? It wasn't like he was going anywhere.
His walking progress was slow and the doctors pointed it out to be either his brain being stubborn or that he was not fully awake or the patient didn't have that much zeal to recover. Thus, his inability to speak.
I'm so sorry, Hae-won. I think I'm making things too hard for you but don't worry, after rain comes sunshine. we'll get through this together. Fighting!
