Bab 388: The Statue

Vicenzo kept his senses alert, which made his strength depleted. He stopped walking and sat on the ground. 

"Are you alright, Sir?" Elio asked in concern. They walked on an endless path for two hours, but there was no progress.

"Yes, you should take a rest too. It's useless to waste more energy into nothingness," Vicenzo sighed deeply. He drank some water and looked around. He concluded they were trapped in a loop since the Labyrinth wasn't made to go forever.

"Y-yes, Sir," Elio replied and sat next to Vicenzo.

"Tell me when you ran away. How did you manage to go into this place?" Vicenzo asked. He wanted to know if he could get any information to help their current situation.

"Well, I don't really remember since I just keep on running," Elio frowned and was ashamed that he had become a burden to the Alpha.

"I see," Vicenzo stood up and tightened his bag around his waist. Then he drew out his sword.
