Rosina was breathing heavily when she arrived at her home. She grasped the pendant tightly, holding to it with her dear life.
"This place is safe. No one will find me here," Rosina muttered and looked up at the ceiling made of roots. She couldn't hear any sound nearby after a few minutes, which made her sigh in relief. She was happy and sad at the same time.
Rosina put her things on the floor before lying on her makeshift bed. She was overwhelmed with emotions that her eyelids wanted to close. Slowly, she was drifting to sleep when a blast erupted, and the room was coated in dust and smoke.
"What the—"Rosina flinched in surprise, and her instinct went into survival mode. She was about to jump back to create a distance when she felt someone hug her waist.
"Rosina!" Draco shouted and tightened his grip, afraid that Rosina would run away from him if he let go.
"I love cheese plates. Though I actually hate cheese plates. Because I can't say no to them."
