"Ah!" Johnsan was completely dumbfounded, giggling for half a day before coming back to his senses, and busily asked, "Mr. Randolph, then is the delayed progress in my spiritual power cultivation related to this book?"
"That's for sure." Randolph said, "The book is obviously adapted from hearsay, the front is correct, but the back is out of order, I guess it's all made up from imagination."
Saying that, Randolph went to the podium in front of him and rummaged around, finding a transparent crystal ball with a milky-white glow all over it, walking over to Johnsan and placing it on the table, saying, "Just put your right hand on the test ball and concentrate your mental energy."
Johnsan did as he was told, calming his mind and emptying it, and suddenly the crystal ball gave off a faint blue glow.
"Hmm, not bad, the spiritual power has reached the level of a Grand Summoner." Randolph smashed his mouth and put away the crystal test ball.
"Grand Summoner?" Confused, Johnsan asked, "Mr. Randolph, didn't you just say the booklet was wrong? How come I'm a Grand Summoner again?"
"The front is right, but the back of the rune deed pattern gestures are all wrong, and the method of spiritual power cultivation is not precise enough." Randolph said, "You would have already been a Grand Summoner and could have summoned a rank six magical beast."
Johnsan was getting more and more confused, his summoning skill had only broken through once since he had studied at THE Locomotive town, and there had been no growth behind it, it was hard to break through to Grand Summoner at once?
"That's not right." Johnsan wondered and said, "I tried it before in the Falling Moon Mountain Range, and I was almost drained of spiritual energy when summoning the Great Water Rhino Monster, but I just couldn't succeed. Then I used the method of forced summoning and blackmailed the Great Water Rhino Monster Hatchling with my life before I finally succeeded."
"Forced summoning?" Randolph glared at him and said, "Not to mention Great Summoners, even Summoning Saint Masters and Summoning Royal Masters are not always successful when summoning magical beasts, the competition is patience and mental strength. You are clearly a Grand Summoner, summoning a level six magical beast has occasionally succeeded, where is this forced summoning. Forced summoning refers to summoning at a higher level, there were examples of this in the past, but most of them ended up dying under the soul backlash of the summoned beast, how dare you think that."
"It's extremely laborious to summon a magical beast of level six or above, and the success rate of young beasts is much higher. Seden and Nancy's two level six magical beasts, you've also seen them, those are the young beasts that the family smashed a big price to buy from the mercenary union, feeding them with the best food every day, playing with them, and it took two years of hard work before they could be summoned successfully."
Johnsan was speechless, at that time, it was also Fate the half-assed man who said that, he didn't understand and took it at face value, not thinking that he was already a Grand Summoner, and would have had the ability to summon a level six magical beast.
"What about spirit space?" Randolph nearly forgot this very crucial question and asked, "Just now I saw that you were able to summon two magical beasts, how big is your spiritual space? Can you feel it?"
Johnsan had the intention to ask him for advice, so he tried, "I can't say, it's a very mysterious feeling, it seems to be about the same size as our academy, and there's no way to accurately describe it."
"What." For the first time Randolph showed a surprised expression in front of Johnsan and stood up involuntarily with a shocked look on his face.
"The same size as Georgian College?" Randolph asked again in some disbelief.
"I guess so." Johnsan suddenly had some regrets, the words had already been exported naturally could not be denied, only nodded.
Randolph slowly sat down and looked at Johnsan with complicated eyes before asking half-heartedly, "How many summoned beasts can you summon in total now?"
"Uh, ten at the most, but I lost a few during my adventures in the Falling Moon Mountains, didn't come across any suitable magical beasts, and never summoned any more." Johnsan said tentatively, Randolph's expression making him mutter in his heart.
"It's the mental power that limits you." Randolph frowned tightly and suddenly asked another irrelevant question.
"I haven't had a chance to look at your file yet, who is your father? Is it in Auston City?"
Johnsan shook his head and said, "My father is in Folo City, a Viscount, and this visit to George Academy was arranged by Marquis Sweet."
"Marquis Sweet." Randolph read it, and after a long moment of contemplation, he looked up to Johnsan and said, "Go ahead and go home, and there will be no classes on the first day today."
Johnsan bowed slightly to him and turned to walk out.
"This is no place for him." Watching Johnsan's back disappear out the door, Randolph muttered, getting up and walking out until he was outside the school gates, where he stopped a carriage and sat in it.
"To the Lyon District."
The coachman answered painfully and drove the carriage away from George's College.
Johnsan strolled around the academy a few times, only to feel a little bored, so he walked straight towards the western dormitory area, and from afar, he saw an extremely majestic building that was six stories high and spanned an enormous distance.
The dormitory manager was an older man and Johnsan showed his cadet certificate before he let him in.
The management of the dormitory building of George Academy was very simple, the door of each dormitory room had a simple small magic array, and a special cadet certificate made by the academy had to be used to open the door, and the privacy protection of the cadets was obviously done very well.
This little magic formation is very simple, and with so many more cadets at the academy to do free labor, it's a two-for-one measure with double its beauty.
It was late in the evening and many cadets were going up and down the hallways, Johnsan walked to the fifth floor and pulled out his cadet card and was about to open the door when it opened and Fate stood in the doorway with a somewhat formal smile.
"Master, I just saw you coming up."
"The dormitory management in the academy is quite humanized." Johnsan walked in and took the tea poured by Fate and said, "This is also good, not afraid that others can come in at will, so you can set up a magic gathering formation in your room, and you can meditate inside if you have nothing to do."
Fate nodded and said, "Master ..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Johnsan interrupted him and said, "Just call me by my name if you wish, have corrected you many times, you're not my slave, and this is an academy, so what's the point of calling me master."
Seeing that Fate was a bit embarrassed, Johnsan waved his hand and said, "Forget it, if you don't want to be called by your name, you should call yourself Young Master."
"Young master." Fate's face then relaxed and said with some excitement, "The Empire's first academy is really extraordinary, that magic tutor's lectures are in-depth and much better than the one I used to have."
"It's good to be productive." Johnsan nodded and said, "I see that there are many people older than you amongst the magic students, so don't feel pressurized, just study hard."
"Uh-huh." Fate nodded, and seeing Johnsan lying on his bed, squinting a bit sleepily, he quietly went to his own bed and sat down to meditate, and didn't bother him anymore.
Early the next morning, Johnsan woke up and washed up, said goodbye to Fate and headed for the Summoner's class, and went inside, where a few trainees were sparsely seated, but no Randolph in sight.
"Master Nicholas."
Suddenly hearing someone call out to him, Johnsan turned around to see Bernie standing outside the door looking at him with a smile on his face.
"Mr. Bernie, what brings you here?" Johnsan was a little curious.
"The Marquis has asked me to ask you to come back." Bernie said respectfully.
"He used to call himself only you, but now he has changed it to you." Johnsan was a little surprised, and felt that he was looking at him a little differently than he had been, as if he had more respect.
Following Bernie out of the Academy gates, Johnsan and Bernie boarded a carriage and headed south of the city.
"What does the Marquis want with me?" Johnsan asked with some strangeness in his heart.
"You'll see when you get back." Bernie looked at Johnsan with an unfussy smile.
Feeling that his question was a bit abrupt, Johnsan stopped talking. Not long after, the carriage stopped, Johnsan and Bernie got off the carriage and walked in towards Marquis Sweet's residence.
Making his way to the living room, Bernie gestured for Johnsan to go inside, keeping himself outside.Johnsan knocked on the door and heard the answer before he pushed it open and stepped inside.
At a glance of a white-robed middle-aged man in the hall, Johnsan was so shocked that he almost turned to escape out.
"Nicholas, don't be afraid." Marquis Sweet spoke, "Come in."
Heart pounding violently, Johnsan lowered his head and took a few deep breaths as he slowly walked in.
That white-robed middle-aged man was no other than Laolat, the magician Johnsan had met in the barren mountains north of THE Locomotive town.
There were four men seated in the hall, the other three being Randolph, Sweet, and a complicated looking Laolat, except for an older man seated in the center.
The old man in the center suddenly laughed a few times and said, "Nicholas, uh, how old are you?"
Johnsan, somewhat puzzled, replied, "Soon to be fifteen."
"Fifteen years old." The old man laughed, "Not bad, exactly a teenager. You don't recognize me, huh, I'm Aldrich, according to the generation in the family, you should address me as grandfather."
"Duke Aldrich." Johnsan's mind skimmed over this information with another shock.
Aldrich # Harriman, it is the Harriman family this generation of the head of the family, used to be the empire's famous military general, but now older has long been discharged from the post retired, it is said that more than ten years ago has been a war god rank.
"Greetings grandfather, Nicholas didn't know it was you and was rude." Johnsan didn't think that this old man who looked a bit scruffy was the head of the family, his heart was flooded with heaving waves, but he was respectful.
"Sit down." Aldrich waved his hand and saw Johnsan sitting constrainedly on the bottom chair before he looked at Laolat and said, "If it wasn't for you going to look for me, I really wouldn't have known that our family had produced such a genius who possessed a Black Dragon Summoner at the age of fifteen."
Laolat grimaces a bit and manages to smile a bit, giving Johnsan a deadpan stare.
"Nicholas, I heard from Mr. Laolat that you got a strange black dragon summoner and a black dragon egg in the barren mountains north of THE Locomotive town, is that true?" Aldrich asked Johnsan, a glint swept across his seemingly cloudy eyes.
"Yes."
There was absolutely no way to hide it anymore at this point, Johnsan just had to admit it.
"How did you do it?" This time it was Laolat who fired off a series of questions, staring at Johnsan with burning eyes as he said, "Mr. Randolph said that you only have the strength of a Grand Summoner, so how was it possible for you to summon a black dragon? What kind of monster ran out of that black dragon's stomach? Also when I arrived there was a magical beast egg with the top open in front of the black dragon and a dead multi-clawed strange little magical beast on the ground, what is this about?"
