As always, his shadow slave led the way.

Its presence in waiting in the corner of his living room somehow always appeared when Takeuchi needed him.

It's weird and creepy how it does that, but shadow slave was a magical being.

So Takeuchi doesn't really care much about it and accepts it regardless of the confusion.

Guided by his shadow slave, Takeuchi went out and descended into the underground left wing of the building and knocked on Ivy's lab door.

Ivy's lab, as usual, was filled with the comforting scent of herbs and books.

In Ivy's brightly lit lab, only Ivy herself was present.

Already done with these lessons, he knew how the day would play out.

Takeuchi anticipated Ivy's patient guidance until nightfall, with only the two of them in the lab.
