Everyone in the room were singing the praises of beauty of Lucia.
Huh, well I have to admit that she really stole everyone's heart.
Lucia, with Nerisa, started to approach the group of Allan, which includes his brother and father. Every present in the hall had their eyes fixed on Lucia as she walked.
"She worked so hard on deciding her dress for tonight, you know." King whispered in Allan's ear in a jolly mode.

"Ohoho, good evening my dear." King greeted her back with a cheerful smile.
I don't know why but it seems like king is in a mood today.
Lucia turned to Allan.
"Good evening, Allan..." She said. Her checks were slightly red.

"Oh, Thank you Neulon." Red hairs compliment Lucia as she... humbly accepted his praise...? She thank him with even looking at him instead she was looking at me... Well, I keep on looking forward to ignore her gaze but pressure increased even more other also noticed that as they also started starring me.

It's a basic thing for one to praise a girl for her beauty but I don't really care about it, but since I am here I should at least do that...

"Really!? I'm really glad to hear that!" What's with that reaction. Doesn't Red hairs complimented her in a way better manner then mine. I saw Red hairs crushing his teeth in frustration.
She lean close towards me... ๐๐ค ๐๐ก๐ค๐จ๐ that I instinctively pulled myself back. Her eyes were sparkling... There were only few 6 inches distance between our faces.

See was way to close, even other also noticed my uncomfortness but now body dare to speak up.

Realising her behaviour by looking at me, Lucia get backed in embarrassment, her face was red.

Lucia become even brighter red then before.

We were all enjoying banquet, talking about this and that, chit-chatting and laughing... But there was one thing that I noticed that today, Lucia was clinging me way too much. No, it's not about that... It was the first time I saw her acting like this.
While we were talking, whenever a joke was cracked. She laugh just like everyone else but time to time she pat on my shoulder or back. She come close to me and says something like, how interesting or, isn't it funny or things like that as if checking my reactions.
And what did I do in response...? Well, I just make a wry smile every time, that's all I can do...
"That being said, Mr. King, are you not going to announce that Laren defeated the army of demons and protected the capital?" I asked king.
"Oh that, I have already announced that Laren protect the capital and all before your arrival, but I thought that I would make a public announcement that Laren defeated demons and protected the glory of our kingdom in few days..."

It was a pretty good move from the King's side to make it public that it was Laren who defeated the whole army of demons. The fear will definitely grow in the hearts of other nations so they will not try to mess with Kingdom Renhard... But what's more important is, that so called demon lord.
First, I just want to confirm whether he truly is the Demon Lord or is it just a bluff.
After that I would decide what move I should make next.

She was acting ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ค๐ค friendly with me. I don't think girls act like this with someone with opposite-sex, more over, even if they do, didn't they act like this with the one who they know very well instead of some stranger like me how just came to know them just a time ago...
I know that she has... for me. But still, I can't help but feel somewhat suspicious about this.

I clearly felt the hatred in the gazes of all those guys and was able to hear there mutters. Lucia and other can't hear them cause they were too far but I can, because my abilities far surpass the mortals, no, even the superior beings...

The way Lucia was reacting, and the look on kings face, full of joy. I was getting a wrong feeling about this. Maybe they are plotting something behind the scenes.
I can't say for sure about Lucia since she is... attracted towards me, but I am damn sure that some sort of weird ideas are running across the King's mind.
