A spark flashed in Sky Scar's eyes, and instantly, he seemed to become a different person, full of excitement.
Liao En bitterly smiled to himself, this kid, he's about to go crazy again. Whenever training is mentioned, he does seem like a maniac. "Control this metal sphere with your mind and make it fly." Liao En's voice echoed. By the time Sky Scar heard his voice, Liao En had already returned to his side, his lips unmoving which suggests that his speed had surpassed sound.
Sky Scar focused on the metal sphere, mentally commanding it, and the sphere took off. Controlling it felt surprisingly easy despite its size, as its weight was much lighter, appearing to be only around one kilogram.
Liao En said, "I don't know much about space-based supernatural powers, so you will have to figure it out on your own. From now on, control this metal sphere to pursue me for one hour. Then, before taking your evening nutrient intake, you will have to grasp the mysteries of the spatial special ability. Let's begin." As he finished his sentence, he took flight.
A flash illuminated Sky Scar's eyes and under the command of his mind, the metal sphere swiftly followed. As Liao En flew farther and farther, his speed didn't pick up, always maintaining a moderate distance from the metal sphere. When the sphere reached a hundred meters away from Sky Scar, he started to feel strained. Instinctively, he took flight, heading towards Liao En in the air.
"Idiot, take off your mechanical armor, that's the only way you can truly understand the essence of speed." Liao En's goal was not solely to aid Sky Scar's cultivation of spatial special ability. After all, speed was his expertise.
Sky Scar landed on the ground. This mechanical armor has accompanied him for a month, it might be an early technological product, but he handled it with great care, carefully packed it back into its backpack form and placed it on the ground, before taking off once again and commanding the metal sphere to follow Liao En.
"Boom——" Sky Scar's body crashed heavily on the protective shield above the square. Although the shield's defensive ability is not strong, it has more than enough power to hold back his body. With resentment, Sky Scar said, "Did you anticipate all of this?"
Liao En answered smugly, "Of course. After removing all restraints, although your speed can't match mine, it's almost reaching sonic speed. If only the energy of the protective shield here was stronger, you would be able to... hey, kid, you're trying to trick me." His speech trailed off as he suddenly lunged forward, ducking to avoid the metal sphere flying at him from behind.
It turned out, while the two were engaged in conversation, Sky Scar stealthily manipulated the sphere to fly close to the ground, maneuvering it to attack Liao En from behind.
At this moment, Sky Scar was delighted. He had always thought he had reached the limit of his flying skill, but now he was breaking through again. How could he not be happy? With a loud holler, he immediately charged at Liao En.
With a wave of his hands, the metal ball accelerated forward. Suddenly, as if it had lost touch, the metal ball abruptly dropped downwards. Liao En only felt a strange stagnation in his body. The next moment, the metal ball came rushing back up at twice its original speed.
"Good lad, you catch on fast." He swiftly dodged, just narrowly avoiding Sky Scar's surprise attack.
Sky Scar was slightly panting, adjusting the cosmic energy that was mixed with the clear stream within his body, controlling the metal sphere to continue chasing after Liao En. Earlier, when the metal ball lost control, it was intentional. He used his mind to obstruct Liao En's speed for a moment before controlling the metal sphere to attack again. But its application in tactics was quite ingenious.
So, the two kept on chasing and dodging in the air for a full hour. When Liao En declared that the training was over, Sky Scar landed on the ground, his body swaying continuously. After controlling the metal ball for an hour, his spirit was completely exhausted.
As the days passed by, two months wasn't a long time. In these two months, Liao En taught Sky Scar a lot about various knowledge and control techniques of supernatural powers. Sky Scar requested Liao En multiple times to teach him some attacking moves, but Liao En told him that his own supernatural ability was the best offensive and defensive weapon. Comparing physical techniques with supernatural abilities, it was merely like a firefly against the bright moonlight. As Madame Oya predicted, by the end of this three-month training, Sky Scar's special abilities had already elevated to the third level, with signs of imminent breakthrough to the fourth stage.
After such arduous cultivation these past days, Sky Scar's understanding of supernatural abilities was much deeper. Although his power was still far from enough, and he couldn't make his supernatural abilities solidify into a tangible entity, he was very familiar with his space-based special ability.
