"Me too". I blurted and then said. "Uhm... So are you ready to go win the grand prize?" I tilted my head up and then pull free from his hold. Still holding his hand as I stretched backward and then pulled him to me.

"I am more than ready... But, it won't be fun since you ain't my partner". He said, twisting his lips.

"Ya! I am your partner even though we aren't in the same team but we are" team-us". I said using an air quote and then grinned and glared at him as the person with the speaker blew in the speaker calling our attention. "Hello handsome opponent, go get ready cause we are gonna win this and then I will reward you" I bit my lips and then let go of his hand.
